This Shipping Policy explains how orders placed on Tools Warehouse are processed, shipped, tracked, delivered, and handled in the event of delays, failed deliveries, or shipping exceptions. We are committed to maintaining transparent shipping practices in accordance with Google Merchant Center requirements for Shopping listings.

By placing an order on our website, you agree to the shipping terms outlined below. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary depending on courier operations, weather conditions, public holidays, remote-area accessibility, or high-volume periods.

1. Shipping Destinations

We currently ship across most serviceable pin codes within India. International shipping services are not currently active.

We do not currently ship to:

  • Jammu & Kashmir
  • Andaman and Nicobar Islands
  • Lakshadweep
  • Certain remote or courier-restricted pin codes

2. Shipping Methods & Courier Partners

Orders are shipped using reliable national courier and logistics partners, depending on destination availability and shipment size.

  • Delhivery

Shipping method selection is automatically determined during fulfillment based on product dimensions, weight, delivery location, and courier serviceability.

3. Order Processing & Handling Time

Orders are generally processed within 1–2 business days after successful payment confirmation.

  • Business days exclude Sundays and public holidays.
  • Orders placed after 5:00 PM IST may be processed on the next business day.
  • Bulk orders or oversized products may require additional handling time.
  • During festive periods or sale events, processing may extend by 1–3 additional business days.

4. Estimated Delivery Timelines

Remote & Rural Areas 7–10 business days after dispatch
Oversized or Heavy Shipments 7–14 business days after dispatch
Delivery timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to weather disruptions, courier capacity, transportation restrictions, strikes, or regional operational limitations.

5. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are calculated based on order value, shipment weight, dimensions, and delivery location.

  • Orders valued at ₹1000 or below incur a shipping fee of ₹149.
  • Orders above ₹1000 qualify for free standard shipping within India.
  • Additional charges may apply for oversized products or remote-area deliveries.
  • Applicable shipping charges are displayed at checkout before payment.

Shipping fees are non-refundable except in cases where:

  • The wrong product was shipped
  • The item arrived damaged
  • The shipment was confirmed lost in transit

6. Remote Area & Oversized Shipment Surcharges

Certain pin codes categorized as remote or difficult-to-access by courier partners may attract additional delivery surcharges.

Large, industrial, heavy, or oversized tools may also require:

  • Special freight handling
  • Surface transportation
  • Additional packaging charges
  • Extended delivery timelines

Any additional charges, where applicable, will be communicated before dispatch.

7. Tracking Information

Once your order is dispatched, tracking details are automatically sent via:

  • Email notification
  • SMS notification
  • Your Tools Warehouse customer account

Customers usually receive tracking details within 24 hours of dispatch confirmation.

8. Delivery Attempts & Failed Deliveries

Courier partners typically make 2–3 delivery attempts before returning the shipment to our warehouse.

  • Please ensure your contact number and address are accurate.
  • Customers may receive OTP verification for successful delivery.
  • If delivery fails repeatedly, the order may be marked as undeliverable.

Returned shipments can be reshipped upon payment of applicable re-delivery charges.

9. Delivery Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information, including:

  • Full name
  • Correct pin code
  • Building/flat details
  • Active mobile number

Address modifications may not be possible once an order has entered processing or dispatch.

10. Damaged, Missing, or Tampered Packages

Please inspect your package at the time of delivery.

  • Do not accept visibly damaged or tampered parcels.
  • Report missing items within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Photographic evidence may be required for investigation.

11. Customs, Taxes & VAT

Since we currently ship only within India, customs duties and import VAT are not applicable.

If international shipping becomes available in the future:

  • Customers will be responsible for applicable customs duties, VAT, import taxes, and clearance charges.
  • International delivery timelines may vary by destination country.
  • Customs delays are outside our control.

12. Shipping Delays & Force Majeure

Delivery timelines may be affected by events beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • Floods, storms, or natural disasters
  • Transportation disruptions
  • Government restrictions or lockdowns
  • Political unrest or strikes
  • High seasonal shipment volumes

We will make reasonable efforts to keep customers informed of major delays.
